GOLEZ, DEFENDER OF THE CONSTITUTION: Deputy Minority Leader Congressman Roilo Golez (Independent, 2d District, Paranaque) was one of the leading anti Constitutional Assembly debaters of the House minority. He engaged constitutional assembly and charter change leaders Luis Villafuerte of the House majority in a long bruising debate that showed the big loopholes in the Malacanang-driven constituional assembly resolution, thus helping in generating public outrage against the proposal.
